Year 1 drew large poppies ahead of Remembrance day. They looked at distance (things closer are bigger) and tried to cover their paper with lots of poppies. We dedicated our lesson to all the brave soldiers.
Year 3 spent time completing their warm and cool colours artwork. They have looked at the colour wheel to study the colours.
Year 4 looked at Egyptians and their art. They were inspired by their Hieroglyphics and their unique style of drawing patterns. They designed their very own headgears and have filled them with patterns and bright colours.
Year 5 completed their Rainforest posters. They learnt about poster design and how important the title and message are. They also looked at the current situation around the world, particularly at Climate change, and have designed posters to save the Rainforest.
