Under a blue sky and bright sunshine once again, John Lyon Sports Day 2019 saw boys across all years compete in track and field events for their Houses.
Held on Wednesday 3rd July at Harrow School’s Athletics track, the annual event saw a tight sporting competition between the Houses in all four age groups.
At the junior levels of Oldfield (Year 7) and Juniors (Years 8 & 9), Moore House came out on top, winning Oldfield and sharing top spot in juniors with Vaughan.
In the higher age groups of Colts (Years 10 & 11) and Seniors (Sixth Form), Norwood took the top prize in both.

In Oldfield Tio Eniade starred in four events, winning the 200m, 300m, 800m and High Jump.
At Juniors, Jordon Andrews won the 100m, came second in the 300m and finished strongly to win the relay for Norwood.
Kai Waldron at Colts shared victory in the High Jump and just missed out on victory in the 200m. He then took the first leg in a winning relay run for Butler.
At Seniors, AJ Agbede shone, with three individual victories in 100m, 200m and Long Jump, and team victory in the relay for Vaughan. This performance saw AJ named overall athlete of the day.
