Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor 

This position will involve contact with children and will amount to ‘regulated activity’.

Job type:  Bank (when the need arises).

Principal Location: John Lyon School,Middle Road, Middle Road, Harrow-on-the-Hill, HA2 0HN.

However, you will be required to cover/ undertake duties at Quainton Preparatory School (our prep school), Hindes Road, Harrow, HA1 1RX.

The job will involve alternative arrangements during school closure periods. Flexibility is a must.

Salary:  Competitive salary, depending on skills and experience.

An hourly rate of £12.36 subject to expertise.

We are seeking to appoint reliable, highly organised and flexible cleaner to join our team as soon as possible on casual basis.  The successful candidate will be adaptable, hardworking with a positive and accommodating attitude. We look for individual who can demonstrate professionalism, tact, and the ability to maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.

As a cleaner, your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, emptying bins and deep cleaning in all areas of the school plus other general cleaning but this list is not exclusive.

Experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
