WRAP AROUND CARE ASSISTANT

Quainton Hall Preparatory School offers first-class teaching and outstanding pastoral care for girls and boys aged 2½ -11 years. This is an exciting time to join the School as from September 2021 Quainton Hall has now become part of an all-through school with the John Lyon School, and is in effect the John Lyon Preparatory School. Together with the John Lyon School, Quainton Hall is part of John Lyon’s Foundation, alongside Harrow School and John Lyon’s Charity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our friendly and hardworking team as a Wrap Around Care Assistant on a permanent basis either immediately or for a January 2022 start. The post holder will assist in the supervision of children during the sessions to ensure their general safety, welfare and behaviour management, and will be responsible for successfully supporting the wrap around care provisions in the school ensuring all of our children have an enjoyable experience. The post-holder will be able to form positive and caring relationships with children which motivates them to learn and grow. They will organise and implement a variety of activities (mainly play) with the children and will also support and assist with breakfast and snack provision. We are looking for someone who preferably has previous experience of working with children in a similar setting.

The working hours are 12.5 hours per week 3.45pm – 6.15pm.

Salary: c£22,000 p.a. FTE (pro-rata to c£5,036 for working hours below), depending on skills and experience

Hours: 12.5 hours per week x 34 weeks per annum (term time only)
