Choosing the right Sixth Form is an important decision as your child progresses towards this next step in their educational journey.
Most families begin exploring their options from Year 10 with a visit to our Sixth Form Open Evening that usually takes place in the Autumn Term. The Evening is an ideal first opportunity to gain an insight into our academic approach, pastoral support as well as see our dedicated Sixth Form facilities and meet staff and current students.
Registration marks the formal start of the Sixth Form application journey. Please note: our registration fee is £180, inclusive of VAT.
As part of the registration, you will be asked for a copy of your child’s passport, their latest School report, and their predicted GCSE grades. Once this step has been completed, we will be in touch with information and guidance on what happens next.

Following registration, applicants will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview. This stage is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and gain a clearer picture of your academic interests, subject choices and aspirations. It is also a chance for applicants to ask any questions.
The interview is approximately 30 minutes and is held by a panel of our Senior Leadership Team.
Successful applicants will receive an offer to our Sixth Form.
Once an offer has been accepted, the School will be in touch to progress with subject planning and preparation for the transition into Sixth Form life. During the summer term, following GCSE examinations, offer holders are invited to a bespoke event for them, with the aim of introducing them to the rest of their cohort and to help them feel confident and prepared in advance of starting Lower Sixth in the Autumn Term.
