John Lyon’s Sixth Form is a place where you are encouraged to achieve your ambitions, challenge yourself and make lifelong friends. We are hugely proud of our Sixth Form community and believe there is no better place to start your A level journey.
As of September 2025, our Sixth Form is fully co-educational, and students have been given the opportunity to study additional A-Level subjects at Harrow School.
We give our Sixth Formers a new sense of freedom with our dedicated Sixth Form areas. Set in the original Victorian school building is the bespoke Thomas Blackwell Centre, consisting of a common room and kitchenette, the Burges Suite (a quiet study area), IT suite and classrooms. Along with the Thomas Blackwell Centre, Sixth Formers also benefit from private access to the 1876 Reading Room and Sixth Form Café.
