Quainton Hall Remembers

Quainton Hall staff and pupils held  a poignant Act of Remembrance, today Friday 11 November.

The Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy recited ‘In Flanders Fields’, which was very moving, and there was also a reading of a poem written by one of our Year 6 Leavers, Sanskruti, whose poem was selected by the Mayor to be read in the Remembrance Sunday Service at the Harrow Civic Centre.

Our service ended with Year 6 presenting crosses to remember the 28 members of the Quainton Hall community who died in the Second World War. These crosses have been displayed in the main Foyer alongside the names of The Fallen.

Thank you to all those involved in what was once again this year a very special Act of Remembrance.
