The Pride of Lyon’s had a fantastic trip to Kings College, Cambridge. They were fortunate to have had the opportunity to watch the College’s world-famous choir in rehearsal as well as enjoy Evensong in front row seats.
During the visit, the Pride of Lyon’s also performed to King’s Director of Music Daniel Hyde. He was very impressed with their abilities and offered them some constructive and positive feedback, which the pupils were very grateful for.
The trip ended with a visit to King’s Chapel where pupils saw some of the Chapel’s exciting features including the intricately carved wooden screen which divides the Chapel in two, dating back to 1532.
This was an amazing opportunity for the Pride of Lyon’s and they all very much enjoyed their time at the College learning and hearing from some of the best in music.
