Earlier this term, Sixth Form Chemistry students undertook the 2022 Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad. This is a gruelling two-hour examination, which gives students a thorough cerebral workout and tests their chemical knowledge and understanding well beyond the confines of the A-level syllabus. This year we achieved two Silver Awards and a Bronze Award, by Lower Sixth students Sahit S, Josh H and Varun V. This is an exceptional achievement by these students, given that the Olympiad exam is usually sat by Upper Sixth students only, and even then to achieve Bronze and Silver Awards is a rarity. Congratulations to these three students!
