We gained a deeper appreciation for the botanical art world

Kew Gardens was the destination for Year 10 artists in Autumn Term, including Krish Magar and Jai Davison

Our adventure lasted all day from nine until four, beginning at the Victoria Gate. The reason why I loved this school trip was because we gained a deeper appreciation for the botanical art world. The incredible views were inspiring and gave us plenty of chances to take some photos that will go toward our GCSE grade.

The reason for this school trip was because we needed to find a flower or plant of our own particular interest and use the photo for an oil painting when we got back to school for our GCSE sketchbooks.

We would like to say a big thank you to Mr Cordeaux, Mr Brown and to everyone at Kew Gardens for letting us have an amazing day out with our friends and to get some beautiful drawings and pictures for our GCSE artwork.
