Within the context of a diverse School community, the work of the RSP department allows pupils to deepen their understanding of their own beliefs whilst discovering the values of others. A tolerance and respect of the beliefs of others is strongly fostered. RSP is a popular and successful subject at GCSE and A Level, and students have many opportunities to visit places of worship from different belief systems. At Sixth Form level, students are introduced to higher-level philosophical and ethical issues within an historical context, but also ones which affect the lives of human beings in contemporary society.
