We offer French, German and Spanish through to A Level. All languages are taught by specialists. Boys enjoy the use of a modern language laboratory in order to enhance their learning. We engage the services of Language Assistants to develop the boys’ skills still further. The focus is on reading and writing in the language but with a good understanding of accuracy in its use. We want our students to be able to communicate effectively in their chosen language(s). Students are exposed to at least two languages during their time at the School. We ask all boys to take at least one of them through to GCSE, although we encourage them to take two if they can.
