The School's annual choral and orchestral concert took place recently at St John's Church, Greenhill. It featured a professional orchestra - including some JLS boys - who played the Shostakovich Festive Overture. Then Joe Wadsworth of Year 10 played the Finzi clarinet concerto and the choir performed Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs and Rutter’s Gloria. There were also items from the Male Voice Choir and the Flute Quartet. "It was a fantastic concert with a lot of high-quality music-making," says JLS Head of Music, Miss Anna Wilby.
