Matthew McClymont (Year 8)

Year 8 are exploring Graphics and Art through both Fine Art and Commercial Art, this piece was inspired by the work of Robert Indiana, his “love” design. Matthew has used Indiana’s bold graphic style to create his own interpretation of the word “encourage”, capturing the use of bold and simple colour.

Aria Sen (Year 11)

Aria has taken a series of photographs over the summer in India, exploring the theme of people and the urban environment, with a focus on showing peoples personality based on capturing the moment, often known as street photography.

Matt Merriman (Lower Sixth)

Matt has produced this life size study using pencil on paper, based on the theme of people and places. His work is exploring the relationship people have with different environments, in particular record shops. He is not interested in the face as a traditional portrait but the lack of information and how we read it.
