On Wednesday 25th July, the Olympic Torch passed through the London Borough of Harrow. Hundreds of supporters and well-wishers lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the flame as it made its way towards the Olympic Village in East London. Part of the flame's route through Harrow included the High Street up by Harrow School and down through Sudbury, past our very own playing fields.

The School had the honour of being approached by the game's organiser to use our Sudbury playing fields as a base for the Torch bearers. The torch bearers started congregating early in the morning. There was plenty of excitement and nervousness as the torch progressed along its route.

The School is proud to have been part of a momentous occasion.
